National Cadet Corps (NCC)
N.C.C. Organization, which aims at infusing discipline, self confidence, self reliable and above all patriotism in the minds of the youth, was introduced in our college in 1948. Since then, our N.C.C. unit has been actively involved in Activities associated with NCC. It has many achievements to its credit.
At present our college unit is affiliated to 26, Kr. Bn NCC, Belgaum as its NCC Group Head Quarters, and Belgaum under the NCC Directorate of Karnataka and Goa, Bangalore
To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens.
It is organized at different hierarchy to impart collective practical training in different subjects to the cadets to develop their imitative self confidence and leadership qualities. Following are the types of camp trainings

Besides the routine NCC activities, our cadets have involved in major social activities like blood donation, AIDS awareness programme, Anti terrorism rally, help to victims of natural calamity, Loka Sabha Election Duty, Swatcha Bharat Abhiyan, Save Girl Child, Cancer Awareness, World Population Day, Traffic Awareness, etc.
As part of Social service the blood donation camp was organized and inaugurated by 26 karnataka battalion,
Belgaum. 41 cadets donated blood to Blood Bank Government Hospital, Belgaum on 17.8.2011.
Cycle expedition in Cancer Awareness Rally was organized by 26 Kr.Bn.Belgaum on18th November 2011.in which
commanding officer Lt. Col S S Shihag addressed the student over burning issue of Drug Problems in India and
remedy to it .
