Minimum Percentage for Passing

  • Minimum for a pass in each paper shall be 40% of the total marks specified including both the IA/Practical and the Semester End Examination marks, subject to a minimum of 40% of the marks at the Semester End Examination in each course (i.e. 28/70). There is no minimum in the IA/Practical marks.
  • Candidates shall secure a minimum of 50% in aggregate in all courses of a programme in each semester for successful completion of the said programme.

Degree Awarding Body

  • The course is affiliated to Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. The Internal as well as the End Semester examination shall be conducted by the College. At the end of the course (after successful completion of four semesters) the degree shall be awarded by the Rani Channamma University, Belagavi.

Attendance

  • Minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory as per the University rules.
  • Shortage of attendance shall be informed to the parents twice a year
Career opportunities
  • A large number of career opportunities with higher levels of remuneration are open to the students who complete this course. The successful candidates can pursue their career in M.B.A, M.C.A, MNCs, Teaching, Banks, Reserve Bank, IAS, Insurance Companies, Indian Statistical Service, Administrative Services at the Central and State Level. The students can also pursue research after the completion of the course.
