Introuduction

In order to meet the challenging needs of the corporate world environment, its not just sufficient for a student of Commerce to be sound theoretically but must also be exposed to the outer world in a dynamic way to face any practical situation.

The commerce laboratory is a new concept, where in students practice their theoretical knowledge gained in classroom. In addition student carries on more and more experiments. Mock commerce and business activities are undertaken in laboratory. Besides creating an interest in students, the labs also help in developing entrepreneurial capabilities and personality development.

Literary Club

Introuduction

The English Club started by the Department of English comprises two clubs within. The former being Art Club Association and the later being the Socrates Club. The motto of the club is to inspire the students to explore English as language and literature in perspective of interdisciplinary studies along the lines of research, activity, pedagogy and life skill. The club further is motivated to normalise English as academic sphere applicable in day to day student life through understating of the literary and language sciences preliminary in the 21st century.

Introuduction

History of the mankind has been consistently recorded ever since Herodotous elevated it to the status of a full-fledged academic discipline during pre-Christian era itself. In India , Kalhana created a new trend in historiography by writing the first ever historical work,‘ RajaTarangini’ during 12th CAD. Since then, the writing of History in India has been growing in globally admirable manner. As history creates awareness about the past, it also makes man shape his near and remote future in the historical backdrop. One way of learning History is through involvement in formal Class room teaching-learning-evaluation processes. There are other ways of promoting acquaintance with History among students, too. Your involvement in History Club precisely does that.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಗದ ಪರಿಚಯ :

ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನ ದೇಶಾಭಿಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ನಾಡು ನುಡಿಯ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಪಣತೊಟ್ಟು ದುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನೇಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ದೇಶ ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಅನೇಕ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಮನೆಯ ಮಾತಾಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡತನದ ಹಿರಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಮಾನದ ಹೊನಲನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಘ ಅಥವಾ ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಗ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ‘ಕನ್ನಡನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೊರಗೂ, ಅಂದರೆ ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜನ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವರೋ ಅಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲ ಮನೆ ಮಾತಾಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೇ ಕಾರ್ಯವೈಕರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡು ನುಡಿಯ ಉಳವಿಗೂ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಮತ್ತು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳ ಕಥೆಗಳು ಅನಂತತೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸಾಗಿವೆ. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಅಸ್ಮಿತೆಗೆ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಶಾಸ್ತಿçÃಯ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಚಿಗುರು ಪಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಇಂತಹ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡೇತರ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಗವು ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದ ಹೊಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆಯಾ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಗವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ.

ಅಂತೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆ.ಎಲ್.ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಲಿಂಗರಾಜ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ “ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಗ” ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮನಸುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಘವೊAದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಗೊAಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಳಗದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳು ೨ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

  • ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸುಧೀರ್ಘವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.
  • ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೃತಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಕವಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
  • ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆಯಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿರುವ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

  • ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಗಿನ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಂದ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.

  • ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಭಾಷಾಭಿಮಾನವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

Adventure Sports Club

Introuduction

Adventure sports are a great way to build confidence and leadership. Trying new activities and learning beyond what books have to offer go a long way in doing this. It is not only developing a holistic personality but is also very empowering to every individual. It is all about getting out of the comfort zone and walking that extra mile. The aim of the club is to expose the youth to nature, hardships and hazards, build their personality, character, confidence and courage through adventure programs.


Opportunities are open to students to attend trekking, rock climbing and mountaineering courses, cross country cycling, water skiing, sailing, scuba diving, ballooning, hand gliding, power gliding, Para-sailing and paragliding.

Geography Nature Club

Introuduction

The Department of Geography KLE’s Lingaraj College, Belagavi is establishing the “Nature Club” in the College to inculcate the love and affection about the Nature among the young minds. The Nature is facing stress from almost all the directions and this stress on the Nature is increasing many folds day by day, due to which the entire Earth is facing dangers effects like Global Warming, Climate Change, Floods and Drought situations, Ecological Imbalance etc. The entire life on the Earth is facing the threat for its very existence itself. Hence we feel it is necessary to initiate some efforts to reduce the effects of damage that are already happened and reduce the damages that may take place in future by creating awareness among the Students in particular and the public in general.

Introuduction

The Psychology club is a student organization whose mission shall be: To encourage, promote and build a greater understanding of the field of Psychology, to facilitate interactions among the students, enrich their social experience and create a sense of community. To provide an intellectual and social atmosphere to discuss the issues pertaining to the field of Psychology, to spread awareness about the importance of mental well being among youth and to create a setting where students can explore their personality and present their creativity, thoughts and ideas freely.
